When Survivors Give Birth is a not to be missed workshop for anyone working in perinatal health. Designed for care-providers, councillors, social workers, doulas, childbirth educators and anyone else that interacts with birthing people, this one or two-day workshop is designed to acquaint participants with the prevalence of childhood sexual abuse in North America and its impact on the childbearing woman, and to introduce specific counseling and care-giving techniques for minimizing the negative impact and bringing healing.

Offered as a one or two-day workshop. Attendees for the two-day workshop must have experience in perinatal mental health, education, or caring for childbearing women, and must also have attended the day 1 workshop. The second day of the workshop focuses on advanced counseling techniques for the survivor,

The two-day workshop has been approved for 12.75 DONA International Continuing Education Credits.

**Currently the two-day workshop is sold out.  If you would like to be on the waiting list to add the second day, please sign up for the one day course and check the waiting list box on the registration form.  Waiting list spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.**
